Level 1 Certification Training Overview
The Level 1 training and instructor certification program has 3 main sections:
- On-line training
- On site – hands on training to learn techniques and practice teaching in front of live classes
- Completing the final on-line exams
Instructors first take the core instructor training program. Separate specialty courses covering the core program are offered to provide details and practical advice on teaching in your specific area. These will be available for: Resort Training Staff, Sexologists, Medical Professionals, Wellness and Fitness Professionals.
After completing the core instructor program you can then take courses for each program you want to teach. Currently we are offering a “women’s only” program – “Getting to know yourself” and the “Connecting with your partner – couples massage level 1”.
Additional courses will be available in the next few months. By registering with the system you’ll receive updates as they’re available.
Each course will have a “template” you follow that guides you through each step of teaching the class. By following the program you can provide consistent high quality classes, even if you’re still getting comfortable with public speaking. This includes a guided multi media presentation with photos and video. You also can follow the program via a laptop, phone or printed handouts depending on your situation.
Some programs also include templates for different class scenarios – and for providing training at conventions and trade shows. These also include multi media presentations you can run.
Each year you’ll need to take an on-line refresher course and complete the on-line exam to renew your certification. This will keep you up to date on changes and new innovations in our programs.
Depending on the program, students can optionally access the class on-line to both study before their live class and follow up with questions later. This includes an interactive forum where they can talk together.
The goal of the training program is to allow you to enhance the services you provide to your clients, increase your sales and professional capabilities. Plus, you will be profoundly helping women and couples enjoy life more. Most people only appreciate this after they see what a difference it makes in women’s lives.
We will also be offering an affiliate referral sales program that both you and your students can participate in.
With this program you’ll receive ongoing commissions on sales and referrals you and your students generate. Please note the affiliate referral program is currently only available in the United States but will soon expand to many other countries.

hi® INSTRUCTOR CERTIFICATION PROGRAMS
There are 4 levels of hi® Instructor Certification:
- Level 1 Instructor Certification
- Level 2 Instructor Certification
- Senior Instructor Certification
- Master Instructor Certification
Note: hi® certification classes deal only with techniques and methods for teaching others how to use hi®. They do not offer any training on any type of therapy, counseling, or medical treatment. While some instructors may also be sexologists, therapists, councilors or health care practitioners, their background and certification in those areas is independent of hi® certification. All instructors are required to agree and affirm that they will always conduct themselves in a professional manner that is compliant with the ethics standards of the American Association of Sex Educators, Councilors and Therapists (AASECT). While they must abide by the AASECT ethics standards, this does not imply that they are members of AASECT.
Level 1 Instructor Certification
Level 1 requires successful completion of the core instructor program and the template classes for the “Getting to Know Yourself” Women’s only Class, plus the “Connecting with your Partner” Massage Level 1 Class. These three courses are typically reviewed online and then taught in a live 1 or 2 day training session.
Level 1 instructors are required to complete the online curriculum, participate in the live class, demonstrate ability to teach both classes to a group, and pass the final exam. All instructors are required to agree and affirm that they will always conduct themselves in a professional manner that is compliant with the ethics standards of the American Association of Sex Educators, Councilors and Therapists.
Level 1 instructors can only teach the above 2 classes and must follow the specific class format as presented. This ensures consistent professional educational programs for their students.
Level 2 Instructor Certification
Level 2 requires instructors to review the core instructor program and pass the online exam again. Then they may take additional online courses available that cover the other programs taught to the public. Once they have completed each respective new programs online course and passed its online exam they conduct a class for associates that is either at a hi® training facility, or via video conferencing (with approval). After they have demonstrated competency for teaching the course they become certified in it and may offer it to students.
Level 2 instructors can all core classes they have certified in and must follow the specific class format as presented. This ensures consistent professional educational programs for their students.
Senior Instructor Certification
Senior Instructors have completed all courses offered in Level 1 & 2 and are authorized to conduct onsite training for new Level 1 and Level 2 instructors.
Training for Senior level instructors is both online and live. Senior level instructor candidates must provide teaching assistance at a live training facility as part of their internship.
Once certified Senior level instructor can offer Level 1 and Level 2 Certification training at their location. They also can teach at other training locations.
Master Instructor Certification
Master Level Instructors teach all hi® standard courses as well as train and certify new Level 1, 2 and Senior Instructors.
They also can design their own curriculum and teach their own classes (with approval from the Women and Couples Wellness review group).
Master Level Instructors are listed on the website and are recommended to different resorts and venues to attend as guest speakers based on their specific area of focus.
Each year, or when a significant program change is introduced, Instructors much take the update course and online exam to continue certification status.
